The National Board of Accreditation (NBA), was initially established by the AICTE (All India Council of Technical Education) in the year 1994, in order to assess the qualitative competence of the programs offered by educational institution in engineering and technology at UG and PG level. The NBA conducts evaluation of programs of technical institutes on the basis of laid down norms like institutional missions and objectives, organization and governance, infrastructure facilities, quality of teaching and learning, curriculum design and review, support services (library, laboratory, instrumentation, computer facilities, etc.), which will help the graduates produced by the institutions as per industry requirements.
For Vardhaman college of Engineering , 5 UG programs B Tech ( ECE), B Tech ( EEE), B Tech ( ME) , B Tech ( CSE) and B Tech ( IT) are accredited by NBA for 3 times. First time the programs are accredited in year 2009, 2nd time it is in 2015 under Tier – II and 3rd time 5UG programs are accredited under Tier- I in the year 2018.
