Admission into various programmes of Vardhaman College of Engineering is done
through Common Entrance Tests conducted by Telengana State Council of Higher
Education, Hyderabad.

Undergraduate Programmes:

B. Tech 
a. Category-A: 70% of seats are allotted to students based on their rank obtained in EAMCET.
b. Category-B: 30 % of the seats are earmarked for other candidates.
c. Lateral Entry: 10% of total sanctioned intake is allotted for diploma holders through ECET into II year B. Tech programme.

Postgraduate Programmes:

M.Tech
a. Category-A: 70% of seats are allotted for merit students based on their rank obtained in PGECET and preference is given to GATE qualified candidates.
b. Category-B: 30 % of the seats are earmarked for other candidates.

MBA 
a. Category-A: 70% of seats are allotted for merit students based on their rank attained in ICET.
b. Category-B: 30 % of the seats are earmarked for other candidates.

Doctoral Programme:

Ph.D
The college has got sanctioned research centers in three departments, namely, Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering. The admissions are done through JNTUH, Hyderabad.
