Academic Innovation is the academic support division at Vardhaman College of Engineering (VCEH) that brings together experts in teaching, technology, and virtual learning to champion innovative and transformational practices that enhance the academic experience of our students and faculty. It involves exploring innovations in Teaching, Learning and Assessment, tools and resources for faculty and students, professional development through creative and innovative learning experiences.
VCEH organizes student project exhibitions, faculty conclave, academia-industry conclave, and academic leadership summit to showcase the innovations of faculty and student fraternity. The best methods and the processes from these exhibits will be practiced and improved by the stakeholders.
Student Project Expo – An exhibition of engineering projects designed and developed by the students of VCEH which are part of final year project work or engineering projects in community service. On the day of project expo, we celebrate the achievements of our students and encourages them to communicate their project work to specialist and non-specialist audiences. It showcases their skill and outcome of problem/project-based learning (PBL).
Faculty Conclave – Faculty being part of practicing several best methods on the campus in the areas of pedagogic practices, curriculum design, teaching-learning, assessment, research, and entrepreneurship. All the faculty are innovating in these areas and enriching the education ecosystem of the campus. Faculty Conclave is envisaged as the annual event that provides a forum for the faculty members to showcase their innovative educational experiments and share their experiences.
Academia-Industry Conclave – The objective of the conclave is to bring together experts from the industry and R&D organizations to discuss prime issues concerning industry and academia based on current societal requirement. We seek to explore avenues of possible fusion pertaining to research and consultancy, as well as find plausible solutions to bridge corporate expectation with academic training.
